Comenius is part of the European Union's action programme (Socrates) for transnational co-operation in the area of education. It stimulates the setting up of European Multilateral Partnerships between schools and - within the framework of these partnerships - the development of European Education Projects. Details of the current project are outlined in our Agreement.

Mount Saint Michael works in a European Education Project with
the following European Schools:

Apostelgymnasium Cologne Germany

Haslev Gymnasium Denmark

ITG Maggiolini Milan Italy

The project consists of:

Exchanging personal profiles with students in each of the partner schools.
Exchanging area and school profiles.
Work on a central project, in our case, Fresh Water.
Most communication is by email and the students may also 'chat' with students from partner schools via an electronic Chatline
