Leaving Cert Results:

Congratulations to all 80 students who received their Leaving Cert results on Wed. Aug. 12th.
All of the teachers are so proud to have witnessed the talents of this very capable group of girls in a very broad range of events and disciplines since enrolling at Mount St. Michael Secondary School in 2009.

The Leaving Cert results mark the final step in their journey with us and once again the girls have done themselves, their parents and the school proud.
20% of all students achieved 500 points or more - a remarkable achievement. 83% of students achieved 350 or more. This number of points exceeds basic entry requirements for a range of courses in university. Over half of the students received at least one A grade which means they excelled in at least one subject. Nobody failed Maths, English or Irish. Indeed this list of subjects could be very long indeed  - there were practically no fails at all.

The next few days and weeks can be stressful as the students make decisions about their career paths. The school continues to be available to them for support and advice during this time.

We wish them all continued success in the future.
